Bach Flowers

Bach Flowers are also called Flower Essences.  The most well-known bach flower is Rescue Remedy (also known as Five Flower Essence) which was developed by Dr. Edward Bach in the 1930’s

As the name suggest the essences are made from plants.  Flower essences are gentle, safe, non-toxic and easy to use.  They can safely be used alongside other treatments.

They are especially useful for emotional issues, such as:

  • missing owner

  • changes such as new pet, baby, new home

  • grief

  • jealousy

I make the essences up to suit the individual.  The essences are sometimes useful for the owner to take as well especially in times where there is alot of stress or grief.  Pets pick up the owners and household emotions so sometimes it is beneficial to address the humans emotions as well.
